EAMUs
EAMUs (Extension of Authorisation for Minor Use) are becoming an increasingly important tool for farmers and agronomists due to the number of product withdrawals and re approvals.
The use of an EAMU is solely at the growers risk and not supported by the manufacturer. All spray recommendations including an EAMU will record the fact the product is used at the growers risk. Neither the efficacy or phytotoxicity of the product for which has been granted an EAMU has been assessed by the manufacturer, and therefore the user bears the risk.
As agronomists we will not recommend a product with an EAMU without extensive research as to its efficacy or safety, however CCC can not be held responsible for any damage or failures resulting from their use.
It is important that the EAMU is obtained for the exact chemical that has been delivered otherwise this can be a cross compliance failure. In order to comply with current legislation you should download the EAMU onto your computer and retain a paper copy before use. The operator must have a copy with them at the time of application
Below are some of the most common EAMUs available to download.
All EAMUs carry expiry dates, however, they only remain in force whilst the product from which they are derived continues to be authorised. We can not guarantee that the EAMUs on this page are up to date and legal, it is the farmer responsibility to check that the EAMU is current.
